Some videos from my pages

Here is some example videos from our pages:
-technics
-movements
stick handlings
off ice: ladders

Maalivahdit.net

We have now about 200 video clips behind the licence and lot of other goalie coaching material also. Unfortunately, all in finnish language.
We have thought, that we could translate the pages to english in future.

What do You think? Is there any demand to this kind of service ?

I’d like to sticky this thread to see if we can get you some more exposure and opinions for your video/instruction. Of course I am interested in anything from Finland that has to do with goaltending.

Along the lines of translating, about 8 weeks ago, Google language services added Finnish.

Google Translate

I’ve tired the following (I have dabbled with the language but am no expert).
“Tässä talossa on neljä huonetta" Google correctly translated to, This house has four rooms.

Tässä talossa on hengessä “ translates to, This is the house of the spirit, which is not the same as This house has spirit. (I was looking for was this house has ghosts)

Some compound words work better than others, hotellipoika translated as page, hotelli poika translated to hotel boy (what I was looking for was bellhop).

finland won the silver medal in the 2006 Olympics for hockey, translated to suomi voitti hopeaa vuoden 2006 olympialaisten jääkiekko.

Perhaps if that tool gets the point across, others here can help refine the English.

Jere is the RBK goalie. The Montreal goalie is Ville Kolppanen, born 1992. He played last season in our team. He belongs to national team of Finland, U17.
