Trouble with shots from the outside

Hey all.. I recently had a bad game in my 18U leauge the other night and we lost 9-1, after coming off a 4 game winning streak. The majority of it was my fault and it seemed like every single shot was a goal. On some shots I was making amazing saves and i get a piece of it, but then It trickles in behind me. I've really been having trouble with the shots from the point/top of face off circle. Probably about 4 of those goals were scored from doing a slapshot and going over my glove side shoulder. I could have sworn i was in position and I was cutting off the angle, and it was going straight for my glove and it looked like it curved like a curve ball in baseball. Do any of you guys have trouble with some of these shots and could you help me solve this issue? This was really frustrating to me and I dont know how they got by.

Thank you

Come out and challenge. It also may be your mental game too.

Follow the puck all the way into your glove with your head and eyes.
