Open butterfly

I will like to know wich off-ice train i can do to open my butterfly(make it wide)

It's all about hip stretches. there is an old issue of goalie world, and I'm sure newer issues as well. this particular copy has Irbe on the cover and it covers his game. there is a nice article about Peter Skudra and it shows his hip flexing exercises. you can probably look up hip stretches of something to that effect.

Lots of stretching, and squats. I noticed that when I started doing squats, my hips became stronger and allowed for an even wider B-fly.
