Visualization helps out alot here. Think back to all of your past games, and visualize yourself making all the saves, and playing at your best. Think of yourself making perfect glove saves or a great butterfly, and realize you've made all the types of saves before, knowing you now have the skill to go out there and do it again. Knowing youve already got the skills needed will help you be confident and relaxed to go out there and play your game.

Remember to push out any negative thoughts of the past. They already happened, you learned from them after the game, focus on doing what've youve already done well in the past.

I admit I've taken up Buddhism and do a lot of meditation to help deal with my nervousness .. although a nice cup of herbal tea, a good meal (pasta with chicken, 3-4 hours before game) and some relaxing music is something anyone can do. I know herbal tea doesn't seem like it does much more than smell funny but make sure you drink it straight without any milk or sugar and it really helps you heal both inside and outside.
If you've made it to the championship remember this ... you were good enough to get there, and it was NO fluke. You gotta know your the **** ... thats one of the reasons why Patrick Roy was so great is he was the best, and he knew he was ... so he could play under pressure with few if any doubts (if that makes any sense). Just do things to build up your ego, and at least for me, that is only necessary until I get on the ice then my subconscious takes over..

Do some visualization like stated above, but you'll be alright just be confident and play your game; a little nervousness never hurt anybody.

Exactly! Too many people worry about nervousness going into games and they don't realize that being nervous is usually a good emotion to play with as long as you keep it in tact.
