I have been using my hot tub for over a year now to loosen up my muscles before hockey. At my age (38) it has been a godsend. Now some quick things I've learn't. Do not stay in the tub more than 10 minutes. Any longer than that and youi will feel sluggish as mentioned above. Do not try and use the tub after hockey. I wasn't thinking one time and did it only to be so sore the next day i could barely move. It's ice after a game not heat!
