If you're getting a soreness in your shins, be very careful. You may have shin splints which can lead to stress fractures. I seen guys drop like crazy at Navy Officer Candidate School becaue of shin splints/stress fractures, which comes from running. When you run, make sure you are wearing proper running sneakers that fit right.
If it's just muscle soreness, it should go away while you do more excercise, but it will come back hard th next few days. When I lift at the gym and do triceps and biceps within 2 days of eachother, the soreness goes away while lifting, but for the next few days, I'm walking around like a T-Rex because I cant bend nor extend my arms.
