Gyrotwister
Hey guys,
has somebody heard if this balls? It trains your wrist, arms, concentration and hand-eye-coordination. I got mine today and I'll give a full review in 3 weeks.
Here's the link: http://www.dynaflex-intl.com/gyro_info.htm

Oooh! I want the Power Ball with Speed Meter.
Davescool, do you know about the Keeks Word Game? Basically, you get a point every time you surreptitiously use a big word in something your say or write. However, the usage has to be appropriate to the situation and not obviously contrived. You can't just throw out some bombastic word hoping that it will earn you points. And you can't claim the points for yourself ... someone else has to give them to you.
So I'd say you get a point for "simple physics of the gyroscope." It's only a point because you pointed it out, though. Otherwise, it could have been two.

They have those things for sale at the "As Seen On Tv Stores" I was going to pick one up to work on my grip. I didnt know you had to move with it, I thought you just held it for as long as you could. For any one whos used one for awhile how much has this helped your grip and have you seen an improvment in your shot because of this.

I'll give you a point for "surreptitiously". Very nice. Only one because it stuck out, due to it being in the middle of an explantion of the game.

I was gonna give him a point for "bombastic" - just because it's a cool word with some Rastafarian overtones and its fun to say.
As for the gyro ball thing, I suprised Bernie hasn't checked in on this one......forget the 4.99$ or whatever the cost is................. just work at pulling your goalie

I give two points to Timber for using "bombastic," and "surreptitiously" which I still dont know what that means *grabs dictionary* When does this game end, and how do we decide who won it?

You can't just stick two words together to make a bigger looking word. -1 point for you.

Do you lose points for inadvertently mispelling (misspelling) words?

I got one of em toys a couple of years ago. I don't use it frequently, but when I bashed a finger (and the wall, and surrounding people) once too often by having the startup string get jammed inside (causing the rather heavy projectile to go flying), I stopped using the string.
Now I can show my studliness by starting it by hand. Takes a bit of timing and practice. Draws chicks like a magnet.
