Will you have to change your schools slogan from
"No Rebounds" to "Controlled Rebounds"

Love the idea
Keeks!
Sounds like a great idea. Love it.
Seeming as how defense doesn't pick up rebounds anyways, now we won't need any defense! j/k
I just bought new pads, but at fire sale prices, I take by the time pads with your invention become available, it could be another year or 2?
I also bought new skates with the new V cut, sharpest possible. Amazing control and don't feel I need to put OD blades on at all.
All the best going forward with your new pad invention. I'll start saving up!

Keeks,
What do you see has the downside to the pad design. Be honest, nothing is perfect. Thats all I am asking for

As a salesman who has turned a pitiful 20 minutes of NHL goaltending into a multi-million dollar business, do you think I would talk about the downside of a patent pending innovation before the check clears?
The honest weakness is that they may (will) work so well that they might get retro actively nicked out of the NHL after any initial approval.
They may also give the vanishing art of precise stick use a death sentence for a lazy goalie.

I think this was done before wasn't it. There were pads that had the outside roll
on the inside and nothing on the outside. They were called reason Y pads weren't they but I'm not sure.
Interesting idea which tells me i should get out my sewing kit and start working on my new mod. I am sure the density foam is not any more than 110 it's just the angle and slipping in the new mod while cutting out the old foam. Sew it up and give it a try.
Good idea!

I am just saying electricity is the greatest invention of all time, IMO. But it has a down side, for all the great things it can do, it can also kill you.
So this might be a great idea but every idea has a down side.
