The Quebec Butterfly is the system developed by Patrick Roy. Thus the "Quebec" part. In Quebec,Patrick is no less than a god.

No, Roy did not "develop" the Quebec system. He's simply the most famous goalie who uses that system.
I could be wrong about this, but I believe Jacques Allaire is the coach who developed the Quebec system.

I believe it was Francois Allaire, current goalie coach of the Ducks.

Wasn't it Francois Allaire who worked with Patrick Roy in his early days to develop the Quebec Butterfly technique?

Although he's far too humble to admit it, Az pioneered the "West Virginia Caterpillar" system, although he DID borrow heavily from the Kama Sutra.

The Caterpiller system is an accurate description of my style.
I feel it is an advance on the Butterfly. Not only do I stop the puck, I also look very SEXY while doing so (the Kama Sutra influence, of course).

Rumor has it than people have gotten kicked out of Francois Allaire's camp for NOT wearing Koho!
Jagger was telling me that when he tried to attend last year they discovered him wearing Bauer skates, and even though he promised he'd buy a pair of Koho's on the spot, they sent him home without a refund!

The Quebec butterfly style is basically just a style where you go down on almost every shot (just like me). If you're a butterfly netminder then go for it, but if you're a standup guy steer away from it.
O and remember if you go to any French Candian camps Lefevre and KOHO are Gods!!!!

You may want to do a search for Ron Veit to see if his name has come up before.
