Tough agility/recover drill (Video)

http://www.rahockey.com/v2.0/resurss...saultdrill.htm

This page contains an example of a tough agility, recovery & even conditioning drill for goalies.

It's 1,19 mb WMF file embedded to the page.

Maybe we should try this on the clinic this Saturday with BB members

Jukka

wow that drill looks like fun fun and more fun!!!! I could easily do that in my sleep . I'm sure that really does help you with your recover speed. I think i'll try that sometime during practice with my coach.

thats just a flat out goofy drill. there are better conditioning drills( and less embarassing ) than that.

It isn't even April 1st

I think you should do the drill at the clinic on Saturday. Then post the pictures (or video) here for all to laugh at.

In all seriousness I bet that'd be pretty tiring after a couple.

That's a pretty darn cruel drill you've got yourself there!

It could just be on my end, but the clip never would play smoothly.....just bits and pieces???

As cruel as it may look this drill actually has worked wonders with some goalies who were too slow to get up.

Once you are able to do this almost any game situation recovery feels quite easy.

We will have Jani (who's on the video) on the ice with us this saturday so we can look at some of these drills live on the ice.

Desi, maybe a beer or two to instructors and we can excuse you from this one Just kidding of course!

I tested the video with 3 different conections and computers and had no problem, but with todays connections etc we will never get it to work optimal for everyone.

This looks like Dominic Hasek meets Bruce Lee.

Somebody runs you, you leap over them into a somersault, roll into your ready stance, and stop the puck. Hi-ya! Take that, Evil Forward!

Finer and I have agreed to bring plenty of crosses and garlic to ward off the evil doings of El Diablo.

I am truely very scared at this point!
