Putting a little bounce in the butterfly

Has anyone tried wearing full gear (minus the skates) on a trampoline. I saw this done recently and watched a goalie have the time and workout of his life. He practiced dropping into butterflys and half butterflys then popping back up. He also practiced two pad stacks and recoveries. The goalie had to learn to handle his pads while flopping around and this gave him quite a workout. Trying to bounce from position to position athletically with all the pads worked the goalies balance, speed, agility, flexibilty, timing, strength, and endurance. I think where I see this helping the most is in compound movements where the goalie makes a move and then suddenly needs to redirect his body to another position. If nothing else this seems to be a fun alternative to practice.

I'll bet you anything he's going to feel like he weighs 10,000 pounds when he gets back on the ice.
