Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to take the time to thank Jukka, Maksy and Yona for a truely wonderful time and experience! I had a chance to meet everyone and put a name to a face and this was alone worth the price of admission!
The day was well structured, organized and EXTREMELY challenging! No question I have discovered a few new muscle groups!!!!! The on-ice drills were setup in a way that you could participate at a level you were comfortable with. One thing is for sure, I don't want to jump any more goalie sticks any time soon. The other humorous thing was when we did the diving drill through the other persons legs. At one point I had Yona as my partner and both of us are diehard Koho fans. I dove through Yona's legs and ended up catching his skate. He fell on my arse and it was a rather humourous "KODAK" moment according to Jukka......Something about a Koho lovers reunion?!!!!!
Some other highlights were meeting Pete Smith and seeing his sweet new gear! Great gent to chat with and a nice firsthand view of the stuff via trial! Can't beat that!
Truth #1 = Jukka is El Diablo! No question about it!
Truth #2 = "Blocker First, Questions Later" really does have a meaning! OUCH....that nice little James Bond mod on Jukka's blocker is something I may consider at some point!!
Truth #3 = Yona is Dr. Evil for a good reason! I couldn't feel my feet at one point during the on-ice drills.
Truth #4 = those pucks were in the net before I started....seriously...Finer let them all in and didn't clean out the net....I swear!
So many great people make up this BB and this was a chance to meet a great group of them! I enjoyed every minute (while I was able to breathe!) and wouldn't have missed it for the world!
Thankyou to our hosts for a great day!!!!!

P.S.....Finer and I arrived in Toronto at about 2:30 AM due to a "slight" 70 mile detour to Loon Lake.....lets just say we "missed" the 90-W sign......My designated naviagator had a wonderful snooze at about that time!!!! Oh well....we made it home safe and we had a blast!!!!
