Question Junior or mens national team?

I play skaterhockey in the best league in Denmark. And i have been playing at the national junior team for the last 4-5 years. And i have one season left as a junior (i am 18 years now).
Last year i was to a tryout at the mens national team but did't make it.
My problem is that in this season i have been better whan ever and i am rather sure what i can make it at the mens national team as a 3. (maybe 2. goalie?). The real problem is what the European Championship for both juniors and men is at the same time so i can't play at both team!
If i play for the juniors i proberly will be one of THE stars of the tournament and get all the playtime.
But if i play at the mens nationalteam i might only play 1 period or something!
At the end it's the headcoach who make the final decision but what if he ask me what i want?
Becouse i really don't know!
A lot of play time for the juniors vs less playtime at the mens team.

Stay with the team where u get more playing-time... why sit on a bench when u can play...u'll make it to the mens team soon enough
tillykke med guldet ( og sølvet )

hmm

Well play in the Junior's and with any luck the Men's coach will see you play. In other words prove to the men's head coach that you are ready to play in the next dvision. That's what i did when i played for my state in inline hockey i also got to play men's as a back up in the same tournament.

If you were playing for the Danish Junior National skater hockey team last year then you probably went to the Junior Nations Cup in the Neatherlands. I was there as one of the team GB goalies. I remember that the Danish goalie was decent and if that is you that's great. From what I remember you only had a 6 man quad in the Junior team, given the choice I would rather play for a team with a bit more muscle, in all reality if you still only have 6 players, you won't win in Switzerland in September (in my oppinion). If the Danish team is strong at junior this year, go for it since it's your last year, but some of the players in the GB squad are still around and they will be a tough team to beat. I will be playing for senior team GB so if you go to senior we will probably play each other. In anycase consider junior since it's your last year.

Unless you're getting paid I say go for the one that gives you the playing time. Doing well at the Juniors level is better than sitting on the bench at the seniors level. It will also give you more experience when you're ready to challenge for the #1 slot at the next level.

TannerMan:
I wasn't playing in the Nations Cup last year because i choised to boycut the team because it wasn't af National Team -more like a few players who would have some fun -if you understand what i mean.
At the European Championship 2000 in Brighton i was named at the All star team so maybe we haved played against each other in that tournament???

No, I wasn't in the GB team that year but my brother was and I watched the tournament. I remember you were the tall goalie with a combo helmet and bauer pads if I remember correctly. If I also remember you really had the most work out of any goalie, but I thought the two swiss goalies there were really hot, saving everything with outstanding butterfly stances, guess I was the only one who thought so. But back to the point, go with whatever makes you happy, we can't make the decision for you. I've always played both for my club and have found Junior hockey requires more thinking becuase juniors are better thinkers but seniors requires much more fitness and consistency. I don't know which I prefer, I think senior is more of a challenge, given your choice I would play junior if your team is good because you are with people your own age and GB can be beaten (last year we were fantastic, unfortunately no one wanted to play us). Good luck in any case - till september.
