Well I broke down last night and bought a couple of sticks.......CCM/Heaton 8's. It looks like they have the same heal curve as my KOHO-Potvin, and Sherwood 5030 Lalime( which I use for roller.)
I bought the Heation's for ICE. They are a bit heavier than the KOHO, but seam a bit more durable and stiff.
First impressions (I used them last night) Very Good!......a bit pricey though.

I use my Brian's when playing outdoor ball. I prefer to kill that one instead of my other stick.
On ice I use my Sher-wood 5030 Theodore 24" paddle.

I use Hespeller "Rivard" pattern (local minor leaguer whose curve I like). There is no model number just says pro pattern. I was wanderin for the roller goalies. Do you guys all tape your sticke or not?

If I know that I am only going to be using the stick for roller, I don't tape it like I do my ice sticks ( around and around the blade) I just use strips of tape that are the length of the blade, and lie them horizontly across the front and the back of the blade. This leaves the bottom of the blade in it's original finish, which slides better on the floor, but still gives you pretty good shooting ability.........provide it you could shoot the puck before

Sherwoods -- I used to use the Barrasso pattern, then switched to the 1" taller paddled Hextall pattern. I still use these in practice from time to time; they're heavy .
I mostly use my 2 old Vic sticks (which somehow have not died yet). I can't remember the pattern; they're wood with blue & white lettering. My change in goaltending style over the years has moved me back to a lower-paddled stick.
I'd love to get new ones, but goal sticks are pricey... and I play on painted concrete, so I'm not buying new until the current ones are twigs
The only tape I use is a little where the paddle meets the shaft, to soften it up a bit (finger on the paddle, of course) and at the butt end... none on the blade, and I shoot just fine... I could never get the hang of it with the tape on there.

I tape it in strips, but I use several layers to deaden the bounce. I tape the shaft in thre places, at the top of the paddle, for normal stance, in the middle, for giving my trapper a better grip when shooting, and of course on the butt.

I picked up a Koho 570 Luongo in Detroit at TORHs, pretty nice stick. I also used a CCM-6 Brodeur, a nice stick also.

I use the TPS Extra Lite Billington-curve. I like the paddle size (26" I think), and the curve, it has actually made the horrific puckhandling skills I possessed a lot better.

I use a Louisville Xhale full composite stick - I have some samples I am using. I love it but it breaks way too easily for ice hockey. Beware. (well, I suppose it all depends on how hard your guys shoot - so it's all relative actually).
I use it mostly for skaterhockey which has been ok. Even though the ball we use is about the same as an ice hockey puck, the velocity of the impact is never the same as a puck. This is due to the larger mass of the ball against the air vs. the puck which just slices its way through, unimpaired. Even the old boys (ice) I play with broke 2 of em in one week.
For ice, I use the CCM 1052 Superlite stick.
I tried one of those Christian sticks once and really liked it, but since we dont distribute that product, I'm afraid its "illegal" material.

Heaton Helite 5 6700 unknown pattern for inline and I'm waiting for 3 Louisville TPS GS3 Extralite Billington for ice-hockey
The Heaton is very durable, I use the 1st since August 2001 and the 2nd since November. The only problem I have is that the clear-coat layer on the back of the blade goes off on the newer stick. But it doesn't bothers me really much. A little piece of tape and it's ok.
The Lousville is a nice stick, I used the Extralite for inline but it only lasted a month. I really like the Billington curve and it's really easy for me to lift the puck with it. Last year I used the Louisville GS2 Kevlar Lite Billington, it was nice too and lasted long but the wood of the blade felt out, so I wouldn't use wood sticks for inline. Foam core sticks are ideal for inline!
