I've been playing roller for a while. I haven't been able to do the same butterfly as in ice where you slide across, but I think it has helped me stay on may skates as long as possible before making the save. I also ordered the Battram cyclones and it has some kind of plastic on the inner sides of the pads. It's removable because I also play ice hockey. I'm going to get them next month, I'll let you know how the plastic works
