It could be that your stance isn't quite right - and the top of your knees (or the top of the pads) are too close together. if they are, when you go down, you end up with a little gap under one knee.
That was the problem I had as well, i just widened up stance a little (not very much at all) and that helped. I also found that happens if I'm moving laterally and dropping down, that can happen as well.
