Anyone playing Narch/Tour Cup?

Hey there everyone in roller-land,

Just wondering if any of you are playing in any Narch or Pacific (or whatever area you live in) Cup tournaments.

I have a Pacific Cup tournament over in Upland tomorrow. There's also an Anaheim Narch qualifier in Anaheim from April 25-27 that I'm going to be playing in.

Narch is going to be in the summertime (like always)...Anyone planning on going?

I'm playing Junior AA with the CPH Black team. I'll be the goalie with the Koho 560's and Bionic gloves. Feel free to say hi or something...I'd like to meet some people from the BB.

I've played in Atlantic Cup qualifiers in Raleigh and Atlanta. Fun tournaments. The skill level is really something else.

I have played in an Atlantic Cup qualifier, too with my former team.
We actually tied a game!

Seriously, it was pretty intense, and the place we played at was cool. Would'a been neat had we gotten to the actual tournament.

Yeah a lot of these guys are amazing...if you give them a 1"x3" corner to shoot at, they'll nail it 7 times out of 10. There are some pretty heavy shots too. My Heaton Helite 5 (6750, the 'legal' version) is begging to be replaced. I have neat little circles on each of my shoulders after that tournament on Saturday.

my team(team cooler)is playing 12u Narch i think it is next weekend(or the next, my mom just tells me and i do it)

Awesome! I heard the Cooler is a really fun place to be. Is your team going to Florida for the finals? What division are you guys playing in (Silver, Gold, Platinum?)

ya. my team practices at the cooler. i like it alot. my team is probobly in the highest division. my team is either the 2nd or 3rd best team in the state. i am pretty sure we are not going to florida for the finals. i do not know what natonal championship this is but there is one at the cooler and we are going to do that one.

I've only played in two NARCh tourneys, one was the NARCH Varsity Cup in Anaheim and the second was the NARCH Midwest Varisty Cup in St. Peters, MO. Happy to say we won both, as well as the State Cup. This was in 2000.

Dafoe, which high school did you play for?

I played for University, but we didn't go in 2000.

I played at the cooler too a while ago. It's a really nice facility. Hopefully I'll see you guys at some tournaments. The next 2 weekends I'm playing in tournaments then going to Cali to a tryout. 3 States in 3 weekends. I love tournament season!!!!

My tryouts are going to be at SkateZone in Huntington Beach Only a few more weeks. I hope I'm ready.
