Tour Lexur 400

I just purchased these pads. I know very little about them as far as quality is concerned. I got them for under 100 dollars because I decided its just not worth it to use my new ice pads on sport court.

I did read the review of them from a few months ago, but I still have a few questions. My current roller pads are those old Franklin street pads that were like 40 dollars at your local sporting goods store. But I've used them for 4 seasons now and they are just starting to fall apart on me. I've always been one of the best goalies in the league. My GAA is under 4, which is decent for roller. At least in our league.

Do you think these pads will hold up over two seasons of roller hockey? I hoping to at least get that out of them. Finally will the sport court I play on tear them up quickly? I just hope they are better for roller than my franklin pads.

Thats it for now, Thanks.

I've used them for about 2 seasons, they still work ok. they aren't wide, which is dissappointing, and they kick out rebounds almost out to center, which is either a good thing or a bad thing. You get used to it after a while, and i've managed to get a 2.00 GAA using them, so i'd say they're a step up from the franklin's you are using.

There are a few goalies in my league who have used those Tours for more than 4 seasons. They look like hell now, but they're still holding up.

No wonder they fell apart, Roller hockey pads will fall apart after a few ice-uses. I know that for a fact.

Now the Tour Lexurs... My friend had a set of them, they lasted him from the time he started to play till the time he got his Vaughn's for roller. Of course he got the vaughns for the transfer to ice. The only time that the pads started to fall apart was when he told his friend to strap em on, and he rammed the kid with his bike. The stitching came apart. But I nice little fishing line fixed that up... and the stitching never came undone.

He said that he liked them, but since he grew out of them and was transfering to ice, he wanted a better pad. Hense why he got the used vaughns that he still uses today.
