My advice would be to listen carefully to what is asked, play your best and show some interaction with the other people that try out, so you can be seen to be a good team player and one that will be a vocal member of the team. Besides that make sure you turn up on time because it only disrupts things when people turn up late to trials ( I had to do this once because of a chemical spill on a road leading to a 3 hours delay, the manager was not best pleased).

well for sure they'll have enough goalies.

just make sure you have your angles down.

good luck and let us know how it goes.

My Dad coached Del Mar's team for a few years. I think they may have won a national championship or something?

My only suggestions:

1. Don't overprepare.

2. Don't over work yourself.

3. Be yourself.

I've found that I play my worst hockey when I overprepare. Just do your normal thing and play your normal game, and you'll be fine.

Mike Fisher. He is coaching girls Jr Sharks over at the rink in Cupertino. He is an asst. manager of that rink.
