Will these wheels fit?
I've been looking around for new wheels and have chosen the Hyper Pro Wheels which is 47mm, has anyone fitted these into a pair of Roces M12 agressive skate? and will these take normal 608 bearings?
Anything would be a great help

well i cant answer your question but man how do you play in those? my friend forgot his skates once so i lent him mine and borrowed my friedns old school roces majestic 12s and i couldnt do a damn thing in them heh. I thought i might be able to make it work since i stood in goal but never realised how much i needed ankle mobility untill that day.

They'll probably fit, but you'll more than likely find them to be a bit small as they were developed specifically for the Bauer skates

the ankle mobility is half the problem! Before i got my roller goal skates i used some aggressive skates (dont even remember what thye were), and they were SOOO heavy.
Like wearing a 5lb weight on each ankle
it was also long ago, so im sure aggressive skates now-a-days are lighter.

I'm considering gettin some proper roller goalie skates, but don't have a clue where to get the wheels in the UK, would 47mm agressive wheels fit onto the Tuk chassis?

don't get wheels from the UK. Go to www.inlinewarehouse.com and get the new 47mm Rinkrat Crossbar goalie wheels. They're WAY better than the hyper wheels.

Nothing apart from 47mm wheels will fit.
Like I said in my previous post, Rinkrat recently developed a 47mm wheel for the Bauer skate, which in my opinion is WAY better than the Hyper wheel.

I'm currently using the Hyper (black) 47mm wheel in my Mission Detonator hi-lo chassis. I use only 3 wheels, which almost gets rid of the hi-lo effect. But basically I am skating on only the front and the back wheel.
I had considered using an aggressive skate because I am sick of my regular forward skates. The imbalance I seem to be unable to adjust to, and they put alot of pressure my ankles. Plus my shins always hurt. Guess the aggressive skate wouldn't help much
I'd like to find a proper inline goalie skate. Is the Bauer goal skate the only kind available?
Has anyone tried to convert a Graf (with "elf" toe) goal skate to inline?? Any success with other types of conversions?

You could mount an inline chassis to practically any skate boot as long as its done properly.
As far as I'm aware Bauer are the only inline goalie skate manufacturer at the moment.

The Hyper 47 mm wheels are the only ones that will fit to the Bauer 1000
InLine goalie skate.
They have the same size bearings and are overall the same width as normal
(players wheels), so they fit to a players skate.
The unknown is what this would do to the chassis since you would be really low
and the aluminum chassis bends when shots hit it from the side. Also the wearing from the surface would be increased.
The chassis on the Bauer goalie InLine skate is much thicker and whithstands this kind of abuse.
Been using mine for 2 years and the only wears I noticed is on the cowling and wheels screws (we're playing on hard surfaces).
Bauer 1000 is the only InLine goalie skate that is made as such.
I know a few goalies that converted one of the Bauer skate models to InLine.
Basicly one has to buy a goal skate, InLine goal chassis, saw of the bottom part of
the cowling and bolt on the chassis.
This is exactly what Bauer does (minus the sawing off part, I think they make the InLine cowlings same as ice ones, just without the bottom part (skate blade holder)).
This is also the more expencive version than buying a new InLine Goalie skate.
But since its almost impossible to get the InLine skate here in Europe (you can order the chassis though), sometimes this is the only way.
As to fitting the Bauer chassis on a Graf skate, I would have to guess no
(but I'm not sure) since the cowling is different.
If you play alot (like me), buy the goalie InLine skate. It's worth it. Its a bit lower than the ice skate (I have RHG 1000 compared to Bauer 3000 ice skate) and the difference from the players skate is like driving a horse wagon compared to a modern car.
The stability is 100% better, you're much lower from the start and don't have to worry about shots hurting you feet.
Hope I didn't talk too much,
Regards,
Zavesa

Yup, the 47mms take the 608 standard bearing. I'd recommend you hold off for the new Hyper wheel which is coming out soonish. I just got a prototype set to test out and they are a big step up over the blue hypers.

Rinkrats are at the link above. The Hypers haven't been released yet... I think TAmes has them on his skates in the "post action pics" thread. They're clear.
