removing roller puck marks?

we all know that the mr magic eraser works on ice hockey pucks, but what does every roller goalie use to get rid of their puck marks?

i know its a badge of honnor, but i like to look after my equipment, and keep them looking clean and new,

jake

Nail varnish remover and cotton wool. Works a treat on white, don't rub as hard on colours though.

Mr Magic Eraser should still work but not as well, and it tends to make color bleed too.
I tried one on my 580s and there was a blue smear on it after, so I stopped using it.

Yes nail varnish remover will work. I've applied it to my Rbks several times, never had a problem.

Nail varnish remover does work. I had tried Mr Clean magic eraser several times, but it couldn't clean the roller puck marks.

Here are some pics, with one of the pads cleaned with nail varnish remover, and the other still with puck marks. The pads are ******* though, so if the mods want me to delete the pics, just tell me.

Nope sorry, I've only tried it on these pads. So I can't say anything about the exceed gloves, though I know what kind of silver effect you're talking about as one of the goalies in my club has them.

For the pucks, we're using mainly CCM roller hockey pucks, and sometimes afew Mission and Rey. But I'd say 98% of the pucks are CCM ones

I use the Magic Eraser with no problems. Some really deep marks that are in the weave material never go completely away but u can't see it without "inspecting" the pad.

I would also think nail varnish remover would maybe not have noticable effects, but maybe long term "weakening" of the material?
