Narch 2008
Who's going this year? It's going to be in SJ.
If enough peopole are going I wanna get together some kind of BBQ or something.
I am definately going because its only 30-45 minutes away from me, and its at my teams home rink!
So whos going, what team, age level?
I'll be there w/ the RBK patriots, 16u, Im not sure whether we will be gold or silver since we havent even played our first tourney yet.
I know this thread is a little early but if anyone knows I want to know.

Yea, this thread is WAY early. LOL.
I doubt I will be at NARCh this year. I have pretty much "retired" from competitive hockey, but I may come out of "retirement" for NARCh, but I doubt it.
Nice to see you got yourself on a more stable team this season! Good luck!

Well, I have been playing competitive hockey for the past 10 years, and it's time to start the next segment of my life. All of my time is now consumed by school (architecture is very demanding), so I have virtually no time for any hockey (I am scheduled to play once a week in an adult league, but even that gets difficult time wise). I am going to do everything I can to play as much competitive hockey as possible, but I have a great opportunity this summer to do a study abroad program in Europe.
NARCh, last year, debuted a new level of play, called club. Club will reach out to the players of recreational leagues. They now have a division for every level of play.

Itan played in Juniors, D1, and Pro at NARCh. D1 is 24u (platinum). Junior is 21u. Pro is, well, pro (over 18). He is a hell of a player, flashy, but good. Check out his videos on youtube (team dangle, or something like that).
Were you at NARCh this year in Ft Myers?

Nah i wasn't there. I've seen itan's videos though. Flashy is what i'd call an understatement haha. I want to see him in person. Some guys i played with were at narch and were telling me about him.
Thanks for that explanation. A guy at my home rink, shawn powell leafer knows who he is, played at that level. My one friend thought it was NCRHA or college level or something. I didn't think that was right since shawn powell didn't exactly go to college.

Yea, luckily I didn't have to play him My team chose to play Pro instead of D1, and we never played LA Pama Cyclones (thankfully). It seems that better players stand out more when playing in the tougher division, than they do when they play in a lower level division.

Thankfully indeed haha.
Maybe the better plays don't try as hard when they play in lesser divisions? I mean it is narch, but meh?
I will hopefully travel to narch in some capacity one day.
I heard itan's brother is also insane as well.

Hehe.
If you plan on doing a BBQ, it might take this long to get it set up. Hard to figure out when everyone is going to be in town, as I found out.
Anyway, I may be there next year coaching. I'd love to play, but only if I could find a local team that was going, so I don't have to join up with a bunch of strangers.

I'd like to be there. I have to earn a spot somewhere, though.
