Goodluck selling those. I noticed a pair on eBay a few months ago that were relisted a couple of times before they sold. I actually have a pair of Supreme 7000's dropped into my Bauer Tuuk Roller Cowling/chassis set up. While extremely valuable, I just don't think that they have a very high re-sell value.
Mind if I ask: Are you getting new skates, or are you leaving the inline game?

I've seen the vapor XXX combination up on Ebay once before. It was going for like 500 or 600 buy it now.

No wonder it failed to find a bidder. I'm not that naive. But I do think it'll go for a pretty penny.

ankle injury
yea i used to have those bauer vapor xiv skates with the tukk chassis, and twisted my ankle real bad in them the second game i played in them. i was used to playing with a regular boot and chassis (the chassis was a sure-grip 500 w/ 48mm wheels). So just to point that out, because even though regular goal skates (for roller hockey) did feel wonderful, i believe they just hugged the ground a bit too much when i did twist it! eh i was out for 8 weeks (high ankle sprain!). just be careful...
speaking of that stuff, i was always wanting to convert my old boot into a lower profile chassis and a cowling. just so i can have the benefit of ankle stability plus being lower to the ground. any ideas?

If you think the problem with the goalie skates was being to close to the ground (sounds weird to me but whatever) why not just use taller wheels?
I built a set of roller goalie skates and have 80mm (I think) wheels on them right now. They work alright, are comfy and don't hurt like hell when I get hit in the skate with the puck.

Tosser.
They're Custom Mission FrankenSkates. Not regular frankenskates, get it right.

The issue with using bigger wheels on a goalie skate is that they might not fit in the chassis. I know for a fact that no wheel bigger than a 46mm will fit on a TUUK chassis.

Actually, the wheels that come stock on the Bauer skates are 47 mm

Well, yea I know its suprising, but I am going to buy the Tour Redline goalie skates next week. My skates are just too damn uncomfortable after about 30 minutes of play, and my feet go numb. I also need new wheels ($100), so I figured I'd try on the Tours. Tried the redline's on, and they felt great, a little bulky compared to my crappy ccm 652s, but felt good.

Definitely get new wheels with the Redlines. I bought them and replaced the stock Labeda Closers (i think thats what they had on them I don't remember) with the Labeda Patriots 82a 56mm. Never regretted it one bit. The Closers tend to chunk up quickly.

played about 10 games in my redlines thus far with basically no wear on my wheels. What do you play on? I am on nice smooth sport court.
