I had a game like that last yr and one of my guys on the bench threw an orange traffic cone, that was sitting on the bench, onto the ice . The implication being the cone could do a better job stopping the puck than me at that point . I was in a pretty crappy mood so seeing that didn't exactly make me happy either.

Then the second time we played them was one of the last games in the tournament we played, where we lost like 3-9. I felt bad that I couldn't play the same as before, (because how I saw it we could've tied lol).
But that was off 5 hours sleep, and some chips n gatorade in the morning. I've realized when I have a bad day it isn't because of what I did on the ice, but how I prepared for the game which for me are mainly tons of sleep (8-10 hrs), eating 3-4 hours before the game, drinking TONS of water the night before and up until the game. When I know I've done those I feel ontop of the world, and my reflexes are much better.
Hope that helps some
What teams do you/have played for down here in South Florida?

Remember! your playing roller hockey here, harder to move side to side and no sliding. Roller hockey is practically all offense, everyone's going to get killed here and there. The great thing about playing roller hockey is, players are more expected to score a goal, and when you stop them, it's the greatest feeling in the world. Just strive to make those great saves and you'll only get better!

Last time I checked the sun keeps coming up,or the Zamboni keeps cleaning the ice.
Mind Set is something each individual goalie deals with at every level, whether it's the noon hour pick up crew or a championship game.
It could be possible something else is going on with you that affected your performance. Big thing is, it's gone and now to the next ice time or game.
Enough pyschiatric stuff, I gotta go sharpen my skates.

I had one of those games today, no matter how many big saves i pulled off, little things went wrong.

They were going in off teamates skates, 3rd shots etc.. i even went to adjust my helmet to look up and see a puck coming at me..suffice to say, a toskala moment happened.

Its all good though, we were short benched and know where we went wrong as a team.

Just looking forward to training now

Just thought I'd say my next two games went pretty awesome, especially the last one (which was away) was probably the best ive played for a long time. I guess a really crappy time made me focus and feel the pressure more the next time. Though it did make me realise i have a sh*tload to still to work on, but thats what its all about. To get my playoff fix today (since were thru now) i watched the 02 avs-wings game where Roy let in 6 in 16 shots, I guess it was just one of those days.
