You could always go with aggressive skate wheels, since your looking for a more durable wheel.

Well this was/is a horrendous experience
I had decided on going with the predator chassis as wanting to use more durable and cheaper 59mm wheels was a big plus for me. According to Inline Warehouse's listing, I was a size small. The size small was way to short and it had to be exchanged. During this time there were numerous delays which resulted in me not getting the medium chassis until this Monday (myself and the retailer were both responsible for the delays).
Now I am getting conflicting reports. I called Labeda and they say I should be a size medium and they talked to someone at goalie monkey who also agreed and said my chassis should be size medium. However, Cyclone Taylor who is installing the chassis, said the way the chassis would sit on my boot, my toes would be inclined and not flat. The chassis would also be shorter at the front yet longer at the back.
Has anyone done this kind of swap before?

You definitely didn't do this the cheapest or easiest way, that's for sure. Goodluck.

Haha I know lol. Unless there is something that Cyclone Taylor is doing wrong, I will most likely end up sending the chassis back and going for a set of 47mm rink rats and see how those do.
I tried to go for exactly what I wanted, and it doesn't appear like it will turn out. So I will just have to go with the next best/easiest solution. So until my goalie boot ordeal is resolved, it is back to player boots for me
I didn't go with the tuk mod cause of time constraints and the risk I'd mess it up. Turns out this took more time
O well, win some, lose some.
Again, anyone else tried this swap?

I actually took pictures for Labeda with the Medium chasis and a size 8 boot, you can clearly see it should work. Not here to cause a problem, but everything lines up.

Thanks again for the help. I will be taking my boots to where I bought them locally (The Hockey Shop). They seem to think they can install the chassis properly and said they'd be willing to give you a call if something doesn't seem right.

i almost ordered some of those same wheels, the patriots. When i finally went out to the local shop and took a look at them, god they were soft! I was trying to get out of the Labeda Closer wheels that come in a Tour Redline 5000, and i ended up purchasing the Hyper Pro 47mm wheels x10 for about 50 bucks shipped from inlinewarehouse.com. so far so good but i've only played in them for about 2 months now...

The patriots are actually pretty hard...82a. I love them. They are my favorite wheel other than the crossbar's.

I actually just bought the tour code carbons and they come with the predator frame and the patriot wheel. the frame looks and feels great but i skated once and took the patriot wheel right out. I prefer using aggressive wheels. currently i am using a set of cheap a** senate wheels and they work great hard enough to slide and just enough grip to stand (lol) . Honestly though the aggressive wheels work great but might take some people a lil time to get used to. Since i play on sport court they last umm forever lol.
also who ever said that the tiny blue wheels are garbage in so many words I couldnt agree more lol

Maybe the shop i went to had them in the softies only...sux cause that's the hardness i'd like at least 78a but 82a is great too. It's too late anyho i got the hyper pro's and used them for a while now. since feburary. I do like them but they are kinda odd skating on such a small wheel but it does work well.

imo, those things are absolute garbage. I've tried like 5 different wheels in 59 an 47. I'd rank them like.
1. crossbar
2. patriot
3. red star gardien
4. gripper
5. hypers
i absolutely can't use the last two.
