Are you looking for in-game footage or footage of how to assemble them?

Hi
Either would be great. I see a lot of video of butterfly slide technique on ice, just wondering if anything simular is around for inline, especially with the slide plates fitted. I suppose it would be impossible to emulate with out them.
thanks

Having used them for almost five years now, you're not going to get anything resembling a butterfly slide in the traditional sense with slide plates - at best, slide plates will help ease the friction, making kicking out a pad or sliding into a save easier without getting caught up on the surface. Most long slides need to be made along the cowling of the skate to get good distance.

Note: Tomy doesn't use slide plates, but the technique really shouldn't change whether you have slide plates or not. As said above, all the slide plates really help with is keeping the pads from hanging up, making small slides, kicking out, and small adjustments a little bit easier.
