Protecting the Stitches

Good, nifty little trick that I picked up recently from a fellow ball hockey goalie. Try coating the Stitching in your equipment with Industrial 2-part epoxy, this will prevent friction on non-ice surfaces from wearing out the lace in your catcher/blocker and or pads. He also does this for his Ice gear too.

Btw, most epoxies need 24-hrs curing time!
