Question Handling inline puck

Anybody else find it more difficult to handle an inline puck than an ice one?

Anyone know why this might be the case for me?

Lightbulb It's Friction, Baby...

Ice provides much less resistance than SportCourt. You can smoothly drive the stick and then roll your wrists on ice, while SportCourt makes the movement MUCH more forced and jerky. What I'd recommend is trying not to force the stick to flex by driving it into the ground to "snap" it, a la Brodeur. Keep your stick light on the court, and REALLY flick your wrists to get that puck going. It takes a wear on your arms, but it works. You may also need to rotate your body a little away from where you're sending the puck so it goes there, and not crooked.

I find shooting a roller puck to be easier than shooting an ice puck due to the lighter weight.

The only thing I can say is Practice, Practice, and Practice.

After many hours and sore arms and wrists I finally can rifle the puck.

Question for you all?
How often does your team send the puck back to you to play?

I too find that it is easier for me to shoot a roller puck than it is to shoot an ice puck.

I think the roller puck is easier to shoot due to the fact that it does sit up a bit off the floor, and there is a small space that you can get under the puck a bit easier. The roller ball is a joke. I can lift that thing with ease, and even a crappy shooter can get it over the crossbar.

Thanks to Bernie and an old fisherman, I can fire the puck over the glass now.

One game the puck came back to me, and I fired it head high down the floor. My D-man says "wow I never knew you could shoot like that". I replied "You never pass me the puck." I always encourage my D-men that if they ever get pressured really bad I can help but they seem to forget

My last shinny I made a really nice cross-pass to the winger off the far boards. As always I yelled out "Score and I'll get an assist!!" He did I got 3 assists in one game on my league this season!

Eh *shrug* maybe I'm just crazy.

Not that I'm the greatest puck-handler in the world but I swear it feels like the heavier ice puck sits on my stick longer when I try to lift it, making it easier to shoot.

Once again I refer back to the crazy thing .
