Looks cleaner I find and it's harder to wear through jenpro than cordura/nylon. You don't see nearly as much wear on bindingless pieces of equipment.

Like I said earlier, it's personal opinion and for me, I prefer both the look and durability, especially paying all that money for a set of gear.
