Smith,
Evildink have answered all your questions. The sling was an option with no extra cost!. BTW...my model is a Thibault. Michel said Thibault's mold best suited my head size and facial features.

Thanks dink! and goalpatrol!!!
I'd corresponded with a few emails with Michel, but pricing was not discussed. I was more concerned how he achieved a high level of protection without making the mask with a custom mold of your head. He replied that he can still use the mold to find the shell that fits it best. He also has a cheater cage, one he calls Melanson style.

I casted my own mold and had it shipped to Michel. This was what he preferred for best fitting. Michel quoted me 3 weeks and it was done in 3 weeks. A very nice individual with great services.

NP Smith! I'll be taking a mold of my head this week to send to Michel. He was extremely informative in his emails and even answered questions before I could ask him. I'll have to ask him about the Cheater cage as well. I was going to order one of those from Tony, but this may save me a step.

I sent my mold last week.
I'm getting the model he used for Martin Brochu. I've got some pics of masks that he sent me when we were discussing them. He told me that i should get mine done before chirstmas but due to when i shipped my mold i'm not sure. I will be getting a cat eye cage as well as a potvin paint job. all in all about 900cnd which i think is a great price. i've got about 5 or 6 pics of masks he's made.

Sorry bout that dink - I have now fixed the link. I do believe it is different from the Beaupre cage - I think Sportmask's version is pretty close to Beaupre's, and the eye holes are much smaller than the Melanson. I'd be interested in his answer as well, or if he is able to manufacture a custom cage (at a reasonable price).
