Why can't mask makers ever get along?

It always seems like there are mask trolls and false claims etc..

Is the business that cut throat?

If you go here http://www.armorgraphics.com/hockeymain.htm and click on Pro and University artwork you can see a couple of WJD masks painted for Yan Danis and Dan Ellis of the Hamilton Bulldogs. I'm not sure if they actually wore them in games or not but they are on there. The single vent hole makes the mask look like it would be pretty hot.

It only seems to be two people of this board that cause any trouble when it comes to masks.

As for the WJD masks. Seen'em and they aren't for me.

LORT,
Arent YOU the one who started a mask thread with complete misinformation and wild claims only to finally give your agenda up after being presented with FACTS.

Someone here claimed to make "the lightest mask on the market" which is FAR from the TRUTH.

I was merely pointing out that this claim is not correct. Do you have a problem with persons knowing more than you about a subject offering their correct information for the benefit of others who may not know the facts? Does this BB wish to pride itself on misinformation and fantasy - or does it APPRECIATE those that set the record straight when things get misaligned (whatever topic it might be).

If you have a problem with that keep it to yourself.

This has nothing to do with "causing trouble" as you put it - it's simply putting the FACTS straight.

As I see it, the only one who appears to YET AGAIN wish to start trouble when it comes to masks is YOU who seems to never accept any answer other than that that fits your own agenda (whatever that may be.)

mont,

Guilty minds jump to a quick defense. As for the past thread, I know the truth and let's say that the facts as you so call them are not represented.

hey keeps 33,

that whole vokoun comment over at DS was actually false. unfortunately the owner was given false information about that particular pro wearing this type of mask and the owner posted this information on the site. so no, vokoun was not wearing a wjd mask as he was wearing and has always been wearing his itech mask.

the only pros that ive seen posing with this mask has been ellis and danis. i havent seen anyone else. ive heard of others like thibault, ahonen are "going" to wear this mask when the season starts. actually on the WJD website there are names of the pro that are supposely going to wear this mask.

i must admit that i purchased one of those mask and was happy with my first impression of the mask. i also have to admit that ive not worn the mask as it is being painted.

Spoken like a true expert who can't tell the difference between carbon and aramid.

OK Lort is one that wishes to cause trouble - who is the other and don't get confused between FACTS and trouble.

We'll see what fact and fiction is all about as soon as your product makes its way into the Canadian market place.

Tell ya what, I'll even test your mask and let you know how good it is.

But for now your product looks ok. Now I just need to know if it will perform.
