Since this is a goalie board...... I think the jerseys, atleast initially should be in Goalie Cut... Now... I know I'm being a smart ***... but why don't you just get another goalie cut jersey and get the dimensions from it...
I personally think the SP goalie jersey's have the nicest cut....
As for the graphics... it looks great as it is.....
For exact sizing reference... go to www.bigstick.com ...
they have the exact measurements of most of the goalie jerseys...
And oh yeah.. I want one too....In goal cut of course!

I dont like goal cut, I think if im paying $50 US for a jersey we can get it any size we could really want, whats wrong with that? not trying to pick a fight at all but Id prefer my jersey in size 56 (xxl), so I dont swim in it, and my stick dosent go up my sleve.

No problem man... I didn't mean to offend ... I just wanted to simplify the order for the first batch....
I would have to guess that he would have to make a pattern for the jersey first...
And since most of the people on the board prefer Goal cut... it only makes sense to make those as the first batch.

I like the idea about the whole sleeve of the jersey being the whole sleeve of the tux.
what do you guys think of the lower portion of the jersey, where the pants of the tuxedo would be, to be black as well? IMO, it would make the tux look more like it was the jacket being worn. It may look funny for those of us without black pants for our gear (including me), but it might look good and give our jerseys a little more distinction from the Mission ones
As far as the website is concerned, it doesn't matter to me since it will help out Ray's Bro-in-law possibly get more business. It would look nicer below the numbers, but it's also fine where it is and it wouldn't end up getting tucked into my pants after playing for a bit.
How about adding a beer bottle in each of the front pockets too? It'll help remind me of my HS Grad
On a side note for Ray:
Does your brother-in-law have MS Excel? If he does, (and the rest of you guys want) I could put everyone's orders into a spreadsheet to keep track of it all.

Us bigger guys need sizes atleast 35'' across the chest from seam to seam, i just measured my most comfortable jersey and it is a 33-34. A 35'' is perfect i think. I am sure some of the other big goalies here will agree. And Sp jerseys suck for us big guys, atleast for me. Also i would rather have no name on the back, would look much cleaner, I dunno that i would even want a number there either.( ill take 1 of each color btw)

Rayzilla,
Sorry I couldn't get the pictures posted earlier.
This is a really cool jersey and fun project. Thanks for putting this together. Just some minor feedback;
1. I agree about eliminating the lower line on the sleeves. Make the cuff go all the way around the sleeve - even if it is wide.
2. I suggest to extend the lapel portion (collar area) of the tux up around and behind the neck opening, much like a real tux jacket. You can see this somewhat on the Mission version.
3. I would maybe add a black line (maybe inverted "V") at the rear bottom edge to better delineate the split in the back like most real tux jackets.
4. I like the numbers on the sleeves also if possible.
5. Name on back would be nice too.
6. I am in for two white at least.
7. I would also get two black versions if they are produced also.
These are going to be sooo cool!

I will ask him for this modification to the design. I am about 99% sure that he will be receptive to this idea, so we'll see how the redesign will look.

This is a very good idea. I like your way of thinking. I will see if he can make this modification too. When this whole thing started, I wasn't even thinking about getting one for myself, but with all of these ideas from you guys, I think that I would feel quite a connection with you all just by wearing this jersey. It sure would be quite a conversation piece. And for you single guys, you can go straight from the parties to the ice rink.
As far as the website is concerned, it doesn't matter to me since it will help out Ray's Bro-in-law possibly get more business. It would look nicer below the numbers, but it's also fine where it is and it wouldn't end up getting tucked into my pants after playing for a bit.
I'll ask him if he can place his web address below the numbers and we'll see what he can do about the font.
How about adding a beer bottle in each of the front pockets too? It'll help remind me of my HS Grad
I'm not picky, but since there will only be one design, there will have to be a majority vote for this (that's assuming that you are even serious about this to start with).
On a side note for Ray:

That's an offer that I can't refuse. Things are too hectic at work right now, so I really appreciate this offer. I will coordinate this with you when that time comes.

That's OK, eSPy managed to get it done without losing any details.

2. I suggest to extend the lapel portion (collar area) of the tux up around and behind the neck opening, much like a real tux jacket. You can see this somewhat on the Mission version. This is another good idea that hasn't been raised yet. I'll mention this to my brother in law too. See what happens when we all put our minds together. My wife is going to laugh at me for getting one now. How could I not get one?
3. I would maybe add a black line (maybe inverted "V") at the rear bottom edge to better delineate the split in the back like most real tux jackets. I like this idea too, and it would work very well with Colossus' idea above about having black along the very bottom. I'll see if this can all be done.
4. I like the numbers on the sleeves also if possible. We'll see what the majority says on this. Unfortunately, we'll all have to be consistent, otherwise it will be a logistical nightmare for him and then there will be a greater chance for errors too.
5. Name on back would be nice too. This might be a upcharge for this, since it is very individualized. We'll see if this can even be an option first. We'll probably need a vote too. Maybe someone can set up a poll of all the options to see what should be made available.
6. I am in for two white at least.
7. I would also get two black versions if they are produced also. Are you trying to corner the market? With your purchases alone, we must be past the 20 jersey discounted rate by now. So the rest of the guys better appreciate your contributions.
These are going to be sooo cool!

Just wanted to let you guys know this is a great idea and to thank you for all the work that is being put into this. Just a few observations.
1. I am fine with wherever the website ends up. Ray's bro in law is being very nice and i know when he gets a website up i will be checking it out for my beer league teams.
2. i agree with making the jersey sleeve the sleeve of the tux as well as extending the lapelles up around the neck.
3. Try to post different pics of the diff design changes we have given......for example only change 1 thing and then post a new design pic that way people can sound off on if the change is good or bad. This will be fairly easy to do and get the design right the first time.
Im in for a couple of em probably and hopefully he can design a black one too!

Oh also will these be made with the "Shiny" material? if not atleast a decent jersey so that it doesnt look mesh, other wise i dunno how good the design will come out on the mesh.

Here is a picture with my ideas roughly sketched on Rayzilla's original design.
My sketch ideas include;
1. Lower lines on the sleeves eliminated with the cuff going all the way around the sleeve - I think looks cleaner.
2. The lapel portion (collar area) of the tux and shirt collar extended up around AND behind the neck opening, much like a real tux jacket.
3. A black line added with the lower edge on the one side offset a little at the rear bottom edge to delineate the split in the back like most real tux jackets.
4. Black areas added along the bottom of the tux jacket - will look great with black pants.
5. I still like the numbers on the sleeves also if possible - not in my sketch.
