would you get these without turco breaks?

I am getting them with a custom break, so the out side is a turco and the inside is a standard break, so they are more like my vaughns.

The Turco break already has standard breaks inside the pad...

Nice! I was going to pick them up from him as well but by the time he replied to my PM I had already bought brand new V2's for $450. I guess you're lucky I did otherwise I would have picked up those pads first! lol
Just curious... how tall are you and what is your ATK? I wound up getting a 34', I believe foxcats were a 34' +2?
Anyway, you are going to love them... I got used to them after 1 practice and I was coming from RBK 6k's.
Here are mine...

My ATK is about 18" or maybe just below at 17.5, they fit perfectly fine, I'm 5'11 or 6'0. I used a 36" 580 before that was a bit tall but I didn't have much probs with either. Comparing the two they're probably about 1" or 2" max in total length. The V2's I just got from Foxcat are 34+2's and well worn in :P. I got pretty used to them right after wearing them for the first time at Wellsie's clinic this past Sunday. Going from 580's to V2's was totally different. Different leg channel, toe-ties have to be done differently, the calf-wedge stabalizer thing was a bit getting used to. Other then they been great

I was coming from 6k's so the leg channel was a big change for me as well. But once I had them on they felt great. Toe ties def needed to be changed for me as well. I don't make them as tight as I did with my RBK's. Straps have to be a lot tighter too. But once I got the changes down they feel great out there... I am so happy I went back to 12' pads. And for $450 for a brand new pair of v2's I couldn't be happier. Only thing that I am not happy about is the color scheme I had to get. It doesn't really go well with my blue and black combo but its all good, it's not like that's g oing to help me stop the puck any better lol

^ I actually had to strap up the pads looser due to the more closed in leg channel. The knee strap though is pretty snug as I was falling off the knee stacks when I velcroed it loose. I even have the bootstraps looser too.
$450 is pretty good for brand new V2's. The ones I just got are pretty well used but w/out many puckmarks (hehe), they're just not stiff at all. Given it's a bit shorter then my old pads five hole closure is a hit or miss, if I have my knees apart just slightly it opens up the fivehole. My 580's I could do a wider bfly and be able to close up the fivehole. However w/ my old 580's I always got a \/ closure (never could close the top part of the pad) but these V2's close up perfectly along the thighrise.

Funny thing is, I was coming from a 32' rbk pad so I went with a 34' vaughn and thought I would be able to have greater 5 hole coverage but as you can see in the pics they are the same size! But my 5hole is a lot better now when I go in butter fly because of the way the top of the pad bends with the 2 top straps being tight.
Those pads you got looked pretty new to me when i saw the pics. He was only charging 200 or so I think? You def. got a great deal though, pads may be worn but are still in great shape.
