Ah ya know. Sitting here in Finland admiring the scenery for another 3 weeks, then got myself a hot date with a surgeon in Toronto when I get home to determine my fate for the next year or so. Could be surgery, could say just take it easy but play. Either way I'm on the ice in January, whether its waiting for surgery or playing it through.

I'll get a friend to take a few pictures of me being a sieve after being off for 16 months, but you'll see them in action. Its a shame for them to be sitting collecting dust, i don't think the dust bunnies are getting past them in my basement at home though.

Here are my TPS Contours that I use on ice:

...and my Battram Bold Roller pads that I use for ball hockey:

I have no full action shots that I can post! I plan to upgrade my ice pads next year to Battram Barrage in Vintage Brown to match my gloves. Must survive Christmas first!

I think Scott doesn't have the vintage brown available anymore... I think the material ran out. Am I right, Scott?

Mitch, is that the new Couch in the top photo that you had to pick up last time you were down?

Mitch secured the last of our material a month or so ago to produce his pads...

Yes that is the new couch! Sorry, I forgot to do a review. It didn't quite fit in the back of my van but I managed to get it home in one piece with the back door tied down. You can see the old couch in the second picture that my wife and her mother made a cover for because it was so awful and ugly! I don't miss it(although my wife did for the first while). Unfortunately we need another couch for the basement now because the couch my grandmother gave us when she moved into a home is now pretty much destroyed. It couldn't handle the stress of three kids and their friends jumping on it all the time. As for the pads, I did secure the last of the buckey material for some kick-ass Retro Barrage pads to go with my kick-ass retro gloves!!!

If you guys were wearing retro pads I would have thought I was looking at a picture from the early 70's. You all need haircuts! And no it's not "pimpin".

I just got the new Legacy blocker today, it's REALLY light! I asked Duke's to add a index finger wedge like on the velo blocker but Vaughn didn't do it.
