Hey thanks man!

These pads must have been soft flex cuz they are crazy flexy. Unfortunately I haven't had an opportunity to play with other 9.8s so I can't really say how the compare. I'm coming from a set of Demons which I know are considered a pretty stiff pad but I had em broken in pretty nice. Still, I couldn't believe the difference when I got these.

Where did you get that wtnGoalie31? I'm looking to get NHL spec gear that aren't gloves or pads, but it's hard to find any.

I thought DiPietro liked his pads really stiff and like new so it would be wierd for him to have soft flex.

Of course I've never spoken with The Rick or his Itech rep so I really don't know but I'm not so sure he likes stiff pads... His pads have top straps and he seems to keep em fairly snug to really close the 5 hole. See...

He really isn't a wide b-fly guy so I'd be suprised if he liked stiff pads. Why he changes em up so much? I have no idea. Maybe he just likes rocking new graphics/colors.

Regardless these pads are very flexy

Also in the Vortek thread, but for those who don't read that one......

New gloves:

And the whole family - finally, I match! The gloves look so good, maybe I'll clean my pads (or maybe not  )

Whoa Brendan, what's up dude? I had no idea you were on this board.

I actually get that a lot, and they honestly don't bother me. It's weird, I know, I just feel like I can move better in 'em than if they were snug, which is the exact opposite of most other people. I actually haven't gotten rotation problems in these at all after the first time out, the pads stay really flush every time.

Oh by the way, beat Churchill tomorrow.
