He actually looks like an actual-size Manny or Mikey V. Great looking gear! Looks like someone else that will miss the Brian's name once his stuff gets too small...

Old school, baby!
Anf if things work out, the package will be complete! Going back to basics!

God look at the kid's mask. That's a very nice paint job (from what I can tell) for such a little guy! Notice his form, probably better than half of us on here!

Gotta say Oddz, like the looks of the Kay trapper. Is the palm nash or just a tan color clarino? Also, where did you manage to find it?

White nash. I got it off the same guy I bought this one from:
I'm still working on fenagling his Kay blocker from him if he still has it.
So that makes three. I think I'm all set for trappers for a while.
And Desi, yeah, I know. But trying to get anyone out to the rink just to take a picture isn't that easy when I play 6:00am pickup pretty much exclusively anymore.

That is a sweet glove! I played hockey about 10 years back with Tom Kay's cousin whom was a dealer for Kay gear, so i got a good deal on my Eclispe c/a . My only regret was not buying a full set of his gear. The equipment was simple, but very effective. Also, i've had a lot of gear over the years, c/a's included, and the kay is the only piece that i haven't had to fix or mod to death. Come to think of it, i must stop in and see if he has any of the old Kay gear kicking around his basement.

My brother-in-law still has his Kay C/A and the guy I bought the two trappers from still (I think) Has his C/A which I would have bought had it not been too small for me. And the bummer is that my b-i-l's is too big for me.
D'oh! But I got first dibs on it if he ever sells it.
And I agree, simple but effective is what Kay gear was all about.
Armor Goalie may have gotten all of Tom's stuff, but without his experience I don't know if it can match it. Could be wrong, though.
