Because I had my gear on, uberdork style in the house tonight (to make sure some new pants and skates integrate well with everything else), I enlisted my brother to take pics:

More but mostly the same shots from different angles so I'll refrain from over-posting them.

32+2.5 in Scott's sizing. When they were brand new I put them next to a 37" V2 and they were a wee bit taller, if that gives you an idea.

C/A is the Battram Pro Finish 5000 series. I really didn't know how giant that thing made me look until I saw these pics!

Hey those pads look very Vaughn like, well in the leg channel anyways. Do they compare to a Vaughn if you have ever worn a Vaughn Velo?

No I am not trying to bash or anything... who hasn't copied Vaughn in a little way?? A simple question, so I don't want to hear everyone get offended and pissy!!

Maybe a little similar in the leg channel, the rest of the pad is much more flexible than the Velocity though, IMO anyways.

i am looking to get a c/a and was leaning towards the itech 12.8. Does that battram one restrict your movement a lot or no?

Check out my review...I had the Itech 11.8, predecessor of the 12.8 and it was far too bulky and restrictive for me. The Battram unit is like second skin and much cooler and lighter. It really might be the best piece fo gear I own.

the 12.8 restircts movement like crazy. Its so weird fitting and stiff. Ill tell you how my battram plays when i get it

Any c/a when you first get it will be a little restrictive. As soon as I got my Battram, I wore it around the house for like an hour. The first time I wore it on the ice, I did have problems touching the top of my helmet. Last night when I wore it fot the second time, I had no problems touching the top of my helmet.

I agree with Jbrown, The first time i wore my Battram i hated it, i was honestly so dissapointed that i spent that much money, however i have now worn it for around 6-8 times and am in love. Movement has gotten better with each passing game and this keeps me incredibley cool while wearing it(i got pro finish). The protection on this is unreal as i found out tonight when i was playing with some former NHLers and Jr A players(youd be surprise to see who you'd find at shinney games).I am very happy with my purchase and would highly reccomend it to anyone!!

thanx for the advice guys. I need a c/a that makes look bigger (because im a strict b-fly goalie that needs at least 3 more inches lol im only 5'8" and need to be at least 5' 11") but is not too restrictive. My goalie coach thinks it would really help because my positioning and b-fly are awesome but ill be in position for a screen shot and it will hit me and go in because of my height. I know its not teechnical because people saw it from all angles and told me i was in perfect position for it. (well for the one i am referring to at least)

so yea, thanks guys. Do you have anything to say about the Luongo RBK pants?
