How long until you get your kipper spec? And when you get it, tell me what you thought of it!

mine should be here any day now, i tried on the opposite side glove and it was incredible. just like the old v1. really soft and broken in from start. but it seems to be lacking in protection

Does the lundqvist spec pads have a slightly tapered toe compared to stock r8's?

Here's the trick...but you can't tell them i told you so...cool?

Borrow a wheel chair, set it in the kitchen while your parents are out. As they walk in, be seated in the chair, croocked, and talk to them with a slur and wobble your head around. After a minute or two, come back to normal and say this looking at both right in the eyes: "Mom, Dad...what you just witnessed is what could be the subject of serious head trauma...such as, being hit in the head, by a puck...wearing a cheap unsafe mask...(this is where you give 'em that 1million $ smile)...you both know that i'm working VERRRRYYY hard to get the things i need...(again the smile )...it's imperitive that i get myself a safer helmet... (kick in the sad and needy face)...to avoid such an unfortunate possible event...(kick in the puppy face look)...may we discuss a possible loan of which i may repay you with my money earned, and plenty of love?...(keep the puppy face going)...

Should work like a charm

I think what they are trying to say is you should always invest in a safe helmet before pro level pads. In the end, you have 2 legs but only 1 head

Lol, sleep, eat, breath hockey. New pads came yesterday, and yes, this is breakfast this am. Well, he was gone last night at Dad's, so it was his first chance to really check em out. . .

These are essentially the same as the old ones, with minor changes. They look gigantic to me, but they were made to measure, and his knee sits right in the cradle, but they look like the thigh rise is like +20 to me. Maybe it's just getting used to them. Can't wait to see if he can move in them! First ice tomorrow night!

BTW - Thanks again to JR (Lord of the Cage) & The Goalie Crease for another great transaction, and Eagle for great customer service as well!!! Awesome service x2 for sure!

Z had his first set of Eagles (26") for 2 years!!! They were awesome and well loved.
