Love that set, very slick.
I think the next V3 set I get might be +3 as well. Plus 2 is fine, but my 5-hole is still a little open because of my narrow butterfly.
The only thing I would suggest next time - pro logos. I used to think it was a stupid, superfluous mod, but it really does give everything a much cleaner look.

Ya, I tried to get them to do it after I'd already put the order in, but they had already started putting them together. I totally shat the bed on that one. I told my wife I'd try to stretch 3 years out of these... next set in 2011!

All you white gear fans, this is how you do it! The dark nylon leg channel is the only way to go! Backstrom does this too.
Nice gear!

Agreed! It helps ALOT when your in the butterfly and a shot to the knee area, it blends in and you get the call fast. Plus it's soo much cleaner looking and it doesn't get as dirty.

With the Thief, there's a post all of it's own... I bought it as a Mike Dunham pro return, hated the backhand padding, and Ben Ward at Brian's made me a new one and matched it to this Vaughn set.
|
Do you really need a pro palm for div 17.

I believe they're smaller, to meet NHL advertising restrictions.
