Thanks...Its going to take some getting used to the V3's. Having no knee locks is something new to me. I used them the other night and it was strange , but went pretty well. Anyone have any suggestions or tips for this type of setup

I don't know what its like without the knee locks so I can't help you. I went from v2's to v3's but mine are stock.

If you don't wear knee pads, you might want to try them, as that is why Bryzgalov got that mod.

Haha, sorry if my response was vague, that's what I was trying to say. By "them," I meant knee pads, not the pads themselves. Bryzgalov wears knee pads, which is why he got that mod. Sorry for any confusion!

Ya , I wear them too...sort of a carry over from my V2's. I used to find that once in a while my knee would slide off of the knee stack and hit the ice leaving a fantastically painful bruise. I don't know if it would feel right without them now , even though these bad boys have a thick block for a stack that feels like butta when you get into the butterfly. No thigh board either....
