hi all,

just thought id see what bargins people have got in the past and how much people save there selves when it come to buying the dredded expensive goalie equipment, heres my list

mask: stacey saved $200

c/a: battram 5000 bought for $200 new(used)

gloves: llouisville xceed:$350 can, new( ebay)

pads: bauer vapor 36+1 $650 can, new(ebay)

skates: bauer rgh1000 saved $270 cos i bought them in the uk

sticks: heaton brodeur model £10 each new(ebay

what about you guys i think ive done quite well

I recently came across a nearly new Bionic trapper for $179 at PIAS. Best glove I've ever used. And I swear, it had maybe a few months of light use before I bought it. Great deal!

got a brand new set of koho 590's (32"pads, blocker, and trapper) for $700 shipped. they were a really cool custom color too. black and bronze. lightly used itech 961 SE for $300. from ebay

also, here in st.louis there is a store called "play it again" and they buy and sell used hockey gear. if youre selling to them they will bend you over, but you get the used gear ridiculously cheap. a few years back I got a really nice set of koho 500 leg pads for $150. do they have "play it again" in other areas or is it just around here?

I paid 80$ + 5$ shipping for a brand new pair of CCM 620 flat thighs pro returns from the Boston Bruins. I have the Bruins logo on the thigh and the NHL logo on the back leg plus the CCM pro logo (smaller and only one logo on the pants).

I think they're a bit moded from the original model to fit the NHL requirments. Best pants for me so far.

What happens to your Sharp custom pants? don't like them? or you're just more confortable in the CCM?

Got my 36+1 Black with Sport Gold Trim RBK Premieres off of Ebay for $755 USD shipped. Couldn't beliee it. Only one other person bid. They are great pads.

Also, bought a Heaton 10K trapper and 570 blocker new for $260 CAN. The shop just wanted to get rid of them, so I obliged. I then traded them (unused) straight across for a RBK Premiere chest protector. Couldn't be happier.

For my son, I got both Itech 11.8 blocker and glove with tags on ebay for $365.00.
He has used them twice and loves them. They were also in his team colors (red, white and black). Love ebay.
