Kicksave (a member on here) makes a combo as well. I plan on ordering one shortly after Xmas.

Just Get a mask and be done with it. $1000 for a glorified bowlingball is off the charts. Get a Nice Eddy LT, Itech 961 NHL Issue, or a Warwick 357.

Don't worry. If I decide to purchase a 'glorified bowling ball' helmet, I will send it elsewhere to be painted.

I agree.... $1000 is WAY too much for that. I mean I can understand you're paying for the quality of protection, but thats a bit excessive for a bowl. I'd rather go with a Mage or something more around the $300-$500 mark.

i don't know how many "experience" posts you'll get for this helmet, i'm sure i was one of the few "crazy" ones to acctually purchase one. A side not, Hasek acctually paid for the mold to be made of the warwick mask, based off of the sk2000. It was a good chunk of change to make the mold i guess. I believe Gary only sells the mask with cages which currently is a deal because when i bought mine it had one of his last hm50l's on it.
All honesty i'm sure any of the helmets mentioned here are great. Warwick had great costumer service for me and honestly i really wanted the exact helmet Hasek wore.
It really is a solid helmet though.
