I never took you for the kind of guy that wanted to watch gay, on ice sex, but hey, whatever turns you on.

I will not comment on Pete Smith or his gear other than to say I had a bad experience with the company.
My review is out dated and I should have added to it but in fairness to Pete, the board, and myself I will not comment on the issue.
I will say that Pete is a businessman and I respect that and he makes a good product. Best of luck to him with his new products and business.

Oh, nice...you won't "comment" -- but you post this?! Either air the laundry or shut the hell up.

My guess is he has some personal issue with Pete and is trying to stir crap up. Not really going to get far with that since there are dozens of us on here who have had great experiences with him.

You guys are paying customers as am I. I have the right to voice my opinion just as you. I had a bad experience and I want that to be known. I am not going any further as I don't want to throw Pete under the bus.
You guys like your gear and service. I didn't. Hence why I am selling my Smith pads.

Yet another case of someone saying something negative and people pile on top of them for it.
As fas as I am concerned LOTC should be telling us more... sharing a bad experience isn't throwing the company under the bus.

I believe LOTC said enough. I'm not shutting him up. I do understand that you cannot have everyone sailing on the same boat, so he is entitled to his opinion and experience. If it's a personal issue, it is NOT our business, but his and Pete's, end of story. If it is about the gear itself, technical and functionality, etc...then i see no problem sharing. It's his call.
Anyone asking for the dirt when you already are a Smith client and clearly are satisfied with the gear, there's no need to go digging. That is just like looking for a bar fight just to flex muscles...wrong approach.
LOTC, good luck in your search. People, keep the pics coming.
Now to my questions:
1- the side wall to the 5000 blocker is way different from the 1000-2000, kinda reminds me of the Sher-Wood one. Any feedback?
2- the pads are a PURE square model, not tappering at the top or boot as his other models. Do you find it difficult to move or adapt? Any catching during action?
3- Pete mentionned that he is always tweaking his trappers. Are there any major, or minor differences with the 5000?
