Has anyone ordered the 5000s in 12" width? Is there an upcharge?

I would assume so, Pete is charging $50 to make the 1000/2000 in 11" width (12" is standard) so I would assume you would pay the same to change the 5000 to 12", as 11" is standard, if he would do it at all.

Best to call or email Pete.

Just got an e-mail from Pete. My gloves shipped out yesterday and pads go out on Monday.

When I get some pics I will post them.

I finally got to use my new set last night. Everything was good

One thing that was an added bonus was my improved shooting ability. How could gloves make a marked improvement in distance and height?

I ordered all 5000s and made my deposit on Jan 12th, so that puts it b/t 9-10 weeks. Of course, I think I may have contributed to adding a little time as I added some orange to my set the week before he was supposed to start them. I was in his shop that monday and don't recall seeing any orange, so if he may have had to order it.

I got these about 2 months ago. They were already made up and since they matched my new pads, I decided to go ahead and get them without the wait.

Pete gave me a good deal too!

Per Pete a couple months ago: the 5000's are ONLY available in 11" width.

Got my gloves today. As many have said before, turned out better than I hoped. Mainly black, with black weave between the Orange stripes

Well, where I play I can use the 12" pads until after 2010, so that's probably long enough for me to still get a 12" set of pads now. I'm big so I want big pads.

If Olie Kolzig can manage with 11" pads, so can you.

I used to like all my equipment ridiculously oversized, and the new 11" pads feel great. I was able to go with a bigger thigh rise, too.
