Thank you Scipio, & RichMan!
I am SOOO looking forward to no more knee pain, or stingers!
Sara (PAW) also made me a set of knee pads, that I used last night with the Coopers (FINALLY, no knee pain). LOL...

Nice. I hear those knee pads are really nice. Still thinking about picking up a pair of those and taking my thigh boards off.

Now less than 24 hours later they are on the first page of the 5000 gallery. Either Pete (or at least his web guy) reads this, or its just a huge coincidence.

I saw that too. I wonder how often he rotates them? I don't think often, so you should have some bragging rights for awhile. Good thing he posted them, I was having trouble figuring out from your pics which ones were the new ones.

Hang'em up on the wall, thats what I did with my Roloson returned and autographed bionics! Hell, and those could be used still, I only wore them for 3 years!

You most likely will not need any knee pads in the smiths... "stingers"? I don't know what that means??? :P

That's probably what I'll do with them, and my old mask, once my Cubberly mask is finished.
I'm REALLY lookin' forward to painless knee-caps!

Order in...

The 11 week countdown begins...

SP2000's (31 in +1) with a bit more flexibility since I'm going from old Bauers. This will be my first set of Smiths, and also first set of flat faced pads. Knowing that I'll have them, it's making me hate my pads! How did you guys pass the weeks counting down the days?

Funny, now both previous Ultimate Eyecandy T3 winners will be in SP2000's. I'm sure you'll love them.

For you smith guys, do you have problems sealing your 5 hole at all? I have never wore thigh boards before my 2000's but in these pads its impossible to seal my 5 hole. I guess its not that bad becasue the thigh boards are still 100% sealed butit still bugs me. The boards hit each other only allowing me to close my legs so far. What is actually happening though is one board (what ever board is in front) gets caught up on the little strap that goes from the pad to the board on the other thigh board (whatever board is in back). It not only stops me from closing my 5 hole but also causes a V because its forcing one pad (the one thats getting caught) to not fully rotate.

Does anyone else have this problem? Here is a crappy zoomed in pic I tried to take to describe what is happening.

Since you cant really see what is happening in the pic I tried to illistrate it a little better with paint. The red is supposed to be the outline of the boards and the little blue thing is where the strap is where the boards are getting caught up on.

I won't know until next week, when I can finally get to use my new "Smiff's" for the very first time...
