The gloves are all essentially the same other than the fact that the 5000 glove is NHL spec. The 1000, 2000, and 4000 only differ in the graphics.

The break on the 5000 is different than the other gloves. I have a 5000 and a 2000 set of gloves. I use the 5000 blocker- but the 2000 glove. I just like it better. I would post pics, but the 5000 is out on loan to another BBer

Bren,
It's the same model , Pete changed the production going forward. This is The 4th or 5th generation glove.
Read it here:
Ryeno42's SMITH Full Set Review 5000 pads
He only has one glove in production at any one time being the only option is nhl sizing which basically means smaller cuff and length of top of "t".

I ordered some 2000s yesterday...told 5-6 weeks.
no major mods done...34+2, stiff thigh, leather calf straps, thighguards
the design on them is stock but most of the pad will be white weave with just the 2 bottom graphics and the outside navy blue.

Have you been talking to Pete about getting that graphic on your gear? From what he told me, he will not copy any other brands graphics. He told me that in December so you probably should check with him before you order them.

I have been talking with him, and the graphics are ok, except for the catcher. I've moved it again but he said the graphic can't go into the break of the glove. Ill just move it again

Yeah, me too! I ordered my 5000 set 30 Apr, 3 weeks ago yesterday. Its killing me. Its the last thing I think about before I go to sleep, and the first thing I think about when I wake up. Sometimes, I go to the website and put my colours into the customizer again, just to see what it looks like. Makes me feel like a bit of a hockey geek, but oh well....could be worse! Hopefuly, they should be ready by the end of the month... Otherwise I'll be even more of a wreck!!!!

When you have it open on your browser, hit PrtScn (By the Fkeys). Then open up an art program like MSPaint and right-click and paste it onto the document. Then save the image and post it like any other.
