I sent an email to Pete asking this, but does anyone have any pics of silver weave Smith gear?

I'm looking into ordering a set of 5000's in a couple months, want a color scheme like these V3's:

I want more of a dark silver like in the pic...I've looked at the pics on his site, and I've seen a few different tones of silver on various pics...

That's the color I'm looking for, thanks.

Going to go with that silver/steel for the main portion of the pad, with black and red accents.

The colors on that set are black weave- silver weave- red weave.

Just plain silver. The first pic is a little washed. But the gloves are the same.

Smith SP5000 and 2000 Gloves

I just received my SMith SP5000 pads along with the SC2000 catcher and SB2000 blocker. The pads are a 34+1 with no special mods, the gloves are the larger old NHL spec gloves (not the tiny new ones). First impressions are important and the craftmanship of Pete's equipment is spetacular. Very impressed with the detailed workmanship. I get to try out the gear tonight at shinny, so I'll followup with quick first impression review tomorrow.

Smith SP5000 and 2000 Gloves

I placed the order for the pads and gloves on April 10th, received the pads on May 21st and gloves May 22nd (postal screw up on the different day delivery i suppose).

It's no screw up. My glove came first and the pads the next day. From what I've read on this thread I believe it has happened a few times.

Maybe Pete does it to tease us

Funny that you'd mention them coming on different days, my glove and blocker came in but no pads. Let's hope for tomorrow!

Surprise, surprise, these gloves are amazing and I'm bewildered by how protective this glove feels.

I only have on issue:

On the back of the glove, there is a white thread around the middle of the glove that runs across under the back of the padding that goes through a loop to tighten or loosen the glove. My thread only has the soft side of Velcro, is it supposed to be like this?

P.s. My camera is in El Paso with my mom and sister for a cousin's graduation, if need be I'll try to borrow a friend's camera.

Disregard my concern, I asked Pete and I wasn't strapping the thread to the right spot. Oops

The pads or gloves? I had a set made incorrectly and Pete replaced them free of charge. I always wondered what he did with the first set.
