I just picked them up at the post office. They are so light compared to my previous pads (Velocities)!

Thx Goblin
In the 1st pic, are there more rings on the outside knee to move up the buckles for different strap placements?
And for the masses...who wear knee pads with the 1000, what make and how's it working out for you?
Thx

Looks like one of the top straps aren't buckled.

I thought that, but then i realized it might just be the thigh board strap.

The gold straps do look pretty nice. :P

Those are hot. Just wondering aside from the knee rolls how are they much different than the 5000s without the side panel since you have them squared up?

I hear what you're sayin...they don't make them like they used too on the Coopers/D&Rs.

The 5000 has no channel so you need the leg flaps in there for it to return on your leg. It's basically sheets of foam in the 5000 compared to the other models which has shread foam in the side gussets.

Sounds about right. The off-season is usually when people order their new gear

yea he just updated the site to say 7-8 weeks.
I'm thinking about getting a blocker/catcher from him. My current catcher is toast, so not sure if I can wait 2 months for a new one.
