Correct - the 5000 is only available in the current NHL sizing, and the graphic is not available on the other gloves or pads.

Too much weave (but that's just me ) The colours are sweet. I like mostly silver pads because it's not very popular.

I was thinking about only using the silver weave and the red/black jenpro...might do that. Thanks for the suggestion.

BTW- your pads look great.

Is this a R8 style strapping or is it just sitting this way?

Pete said he can do the 5000 graphics on another set of gloves for a small upcharge. Gonna go with the 4000 glove/blocker w/ 5000 graphics.

Going to put in my order either Saturday or Monday.

Yeah it's the tri-clip like the R-8 pads have. I see no point in having the center calf strap so I removed it and put those on there.

Sorry about not clarifying that i ordered the smith side panel for sealing up the post. What i wanted to know to achive the Y strapping should i order the conventional side panel? I had an idea which i will present to pete tomorrow but would you suggest to just go with the convention side or keep the smith style panel and still be able to use y strapping? Sorry if its not clear but what i think sometimes doesnt go down the right way when i type lol.

Ray

Edit: When you purchase the clips from the website do you get a pair or just one?

They are priced for one of each each complete clip. If you need two, order two (or three or four so you have spares - not that I've needed a spare, but you never know)
