I placed my order, for a pair of 1000 pads, yesterday.

We exchanged a couple of e-mails over the past two weeks and I told Pete that I had measured center of the kneecap to floor several times, just to make sure I had it right, and hit between 20.5" & 20.75" every time.
Gave him my skate size (ccm 9) and said that I hadn't decided between 9 or 10", up, from the knee.

He recommended a 36" or a 36 -1", depending on the thigh measurement that I wanted. Went with a full 36".

I am about to order. a set of 4000's and new gloves. I am old. so i am going old school. darren puppa pads white with royal blue and white glove with blue trim, and a solid blue blocker with white back, blue trim.

the tough choice is royal blue, white or weave royal blue, weave white.

they both look good.

once the new stuff comes in.. i will have near new s!mmons top of the line gloves. black with white for sale and a pair of used but still in good shape 32" boddams black with white.

Cheers
Jim

My left Friday

Hey Guys,
FYI...my gear left Friday (Mar 10th). I ordered back in the 2nd week of Jan. I hope this gives people some idea were they are on the list. Pete got my pads and gloves done in around 2 weeks. It was great working with him and understood all my crazy drawings.

Hope that helps

Ordered on 20th

That is sweet. That means that mine are close. Pete is very cool about working with. I have changed my order about 3 times and then back to original 3000s and all he ever says is just a simple email saying alrighty ill change your order. I ordered mine on the 20th so should be getting close.. I know he is super busy and that is great. I like when you can help out a smaller guy that does great work.

Mike

I would go for the black on the 3000's, but as you can see I like black. Pete sent me a pic of my pads and gloves(i'll post later) before they were shipped out. They are SP2000's.

After doing a bunch of research on white vs. black Im leaning more towards black as well. Doesnt seem like white gives you any real advantage, and I like the way black looks better

He said I have 4-5 weeks to decide on the color anyway.
